Postcard Campaign

Over 3,500 postcards were sent out as a part of Outdoor Education Week 2011.

Thanks for all those who registered and helped in the writing and distribution of these great stories that gave a snapshot of what was happening around Australia during Outdoor Education Week. A sample of some of these stories will be shared soon on this website.

It will be great to here your stories from Outdoor Education Week. Send them in via email to events@outdooreducationaustralia.org.au

The Campaign Explained

A centerpiece of the Outdoor Education Week celebrations will be the sharing of postcards where participants are able to tell a short story in their own words about their recent Outdoor Education experience.

These stories will be written as a culmination of a reflection process where the students look back on what they have learned over the week about themselves, the place they were learning in, and the other people with whom they shared their learning during the week.

We would like the postcards to be landing on the desks of influential people throughout Outdoor Education Week. People such as school principals, newspaper and radio reporters, local politicians along with Federal and State Education Ministers

Register for your postcards by visiting the registration page. Registration will need to happen before August 9th, 2012 to ensure your postcard package is delivered to you in time.
