Finding The Right Firepit for Your Backyard

A firepit can be enjoyed by many on a nice night. There are a number of different options for people to choose from, and each one bring something different to the table. Here is a closer look at three of the top options available online at Brightside Firepits;

Brick Firepits

Using brick is something that can come off as very classy for any type of addition to the home. The good thing about the good thing about using this material is that it can be matched to the rest of the home, or it can be a firepit that is a bit of a statement piece by itself.

Brick is a very durable choice as well, as there will not be as much upkeep as other options out there. The downfall, of course, is that it is a little bit more expensive that most other materials. Once the pit is built, it pretty much is forced to be there for a long time as well. It just comes down to weighing the pros and cons of brick as it pertains to the home.

Steel Firepits

Steel firepits are also very popular options, as they offer a lot of advantages not found with others. For example, they are lightweight enough to be moveable, which means a person can change their mind on location at a later date.

Steel is also very weather resistant and durable. It might not be as durable as brick, cast iron and other options, but it still can withstand a lot.

Another negative for some is that a steel firepit can become too hot for some, making it dangerous to have younger children around.

Price wise, steel is a very affordable option. For the ultimate flexibility on a budget, steel is the way to go.

Gas Firepits

Finally, although a lot of people love the smell and sound of crackling wood firepits, gas options are becoming a lot more popular these days. With minimal cleanup, a more consistent heating solution and overall efficiency, it makes sense.

Gas firepits are perfect for those who just want to enjoy things spur of the moment. It’s much easier to light, and the maintenance to make it usable takes no time at all.

This option does lack that classic look, but a firepit like this can be customised a bit. It is definitely something to look into, as more manufacturers than ever are trying their hand at gas options.
